Best Friends Bachelorette Party

We’ve decided on female strippers, something involving alcohol/pool/bouncy castles, we need to be covered in paint by the end of the night, probably be dressed like crazy natives, either go-cart racing or actual racing with super fast cars oooor mudding because we are all swamp hicks out here.

It needs to be crazy awesome, and I’m usually good at planning crazy awesome.

I got this

The Lies of Julia

So, I already posted one lie, Pt. 1, and now I’m going to post another select few.

2. God forbid you pay for your own health insurance. Why did they decide to make her a web designer if getting employer funded insurance is such a priority? I thought that was a lucrative job. Anyways, if your employer pays for your health care, they should decide what health care plan you get. And if that doesn’t work for you, supplement it, pay for your own, or pay for your own birth control (which isn’t expensive, especially for a web designer). And yes, just because she doesn’t pay for her insurance, she automatically doesn’t have to worry about her health.

3. Uh, to get that for free, there’s this place called the health department or they could go to the holy site of Planned Parenthood. But most, if not all, insurance plans cover that stuff. So there again goes Obama taking credit for stuff that he had nothing to do with.

4. First of all, I’m not denying that there aren’t great teachers, but with a national teacher’s union it is nearly impossible to fire bad teachers. Unless they like have sex with a student. So pretty much the only way to get rid of a bad teacher without having lawsuits and strikes would be if the teacher committed a felony. Secondly, maybe federal involvement in schools is the problem. Too much bureaucracy does not foster a valuable education. But instead of going into it further, y’all should just watch John Stossel’s special on education.

5. Hmm, starting your own business would be nice…. Oh but wait. You’re a start up company and have to pay for your employees insurance because of Obamacare. Which is why small business aren’t hiring as much recently.

6. Saying that medicare can end under Romney is pretty audacious. Especially when Obamacare is pretty harmful to Medicare as well.

7. Ah, yes. The great federal ponzi scheme. Oh I’m sorry, you people don’t like that. Let me use “pyramid scheme” instead. Here is a key problem: Social Security needs funding. Uhm, isn’t the funding the money taken out of your paycheck and deposited into your SS account which you can then take out when you retire? Oh wait, it doesn’t work like that. Because what people put into it doesn’t amount to the cost of living today. And then the people currently putting money into the system are actually paying the current SS beneficiaries whose deposits don’t cover all of their retirement needs. So that’s why we need funding. Because I’m putting money in to supplement someone else’s SS savings and thus the amount that goes into my account wouldn’t even afford cost of living now let alone the cost once I retire. Oh and the extra funding is needed for people on SS disability before the age of retirement. So, yeah. Also, the other problem I have with SS. We aren’t children who need our parents to manage our savings account because 6 year olds can’t deposit their birthday checks in the bank themselves. We don’t need the government to force us into their savings plan. Government dependency is not a good thing. We should be able to depend on ourselves and chose for ourselves how we want to plan for our future.

So yea. That was a painful interactive experience.

Side note, for something about a web designer, this “interactive” was lame.

And Julia dyes her hair a lot.

Anyways, moral of the story:

I feel like this entire piece of propaganda was a combination of continuing the war on women (which they invented) and reiterating the promises of Obamacare from 3 years ago in attempt to try and get people to forget what a disaster it is.

And as I said before in my previous post, I’m very annoyed with the blatant “I will do this miracle while Romney will destroy the earth” statements without any citation. You can’t just say something like “Medicare will cease to exist under Romney” without having some evidence to back it up.

I HATE

When people make Korra feminine, she’s not, she’s a tomboy. Rock that shit girl!

Everything is Borra and nothing hurts

Always Tearbending: Borra fan girls, stop for a minute and let a boy tell you something about boys

alwaystearbending:

Over the last a couple of days a very distinct theme around Borra has emerged - Korra being held by Bolin, Bolin stopping Korra from doing something bad, Bolin protecting her, Bolin warming her, Bolin protecting her. Time and time again, in fan art and fan fiction, the kid’s there, a steady…

EXACTLY!!!
